Sportradar, a global leader in sports data and technology solutions, has been chosen as the official technology and services provider for the Taiwan Sports Lottery, marking a significant development in the country’s sports betting landscape. This partnership is part of a decade-long project awarded to a consortium that will operate the Taiwan Sports Lottery, bringing innovation, technology, and a fresh approach to the gaming experience for Taiwanese players.
Consortium Awarded Sports Lottery Licence:
A consortium, including Sportradar, was granted the third Sports Lottery Licence by the Taiwan Government’s Sports Administration in December 2022.
This consortium will assume operations of the Taiwan Sports Lottery from the beginning of 2024 and is set to continue until 2033.
Sportradar’s Role as Technology Provider:
Sportradar will provide technology and services solutions to enhance the Taiwan Sports Lottery’s operations.
More than 2,600 retail outlets offering the Taiwan Sports Lottery will be equipped with Orako, Sportradar’s sportsbook and player account management solution.
