In 2022, the NCPG entered into a significant six-year license agreement with the Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey (CCGNJ) to extend the use of the 1-800-GAMBLER helpline nationwide. This collaboration allowed for a concerted effort to modernize and enhance the helpline’s capabilities through the National Problem Gambling Helpline Modernization Project.
