The World Poker Tour (WPT) has announced a thrilling lineup of events for the first half of its Season XXII schedule, spanning from late January to early June 2024. With a combination of seven WPT Prime and four WPT Main Tour festivals, the poker world is set for an action-packed start to the new season.
Kicking Off in Style: WPT Cambodia
The Season XXII journey commences with the Main Tour stop, WPT Cambodia, hosted at the prestigious NagaWorld in Phnom Penh. From January 17 to 30, players will have the chance to prove their poker prowess, with a Championship event scheduled from January 25 to 29. It’s the ideal way to set the tone for an exciting season.
Returning Favorites: WPT Rolling Thunder and More
Next in line is the return of WPT Rolling Thunder at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Northern California. Running from March 7 to 26, the festival will culminate in a $3,500 Championship event starting on March 23. Poker enthusiasts can look forward to high-stakes action and thrilling competition.
April and May are set to be poker-packed months with two more Main Tour festivals. The WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown festival is scheduled from April 3 to 23, while the eagerly awaited WPT Choctaw in Oklahoma will return for its ninth installment. The festival features a $3,800 Championship event and takes place from April 17 to May 6.
Prime Tour Extravaganza
The Prime Tour takes off with WPT Prime Aix-en-Provence from January 26 to February 5, followed by the enchanting WPT Prime Amsterdam festival from March 15 to 23. What’s especially captivating is the inaugural WPT Voyage event set on Virgin Voyages’ 1,400-cabin Valiant Lady. It departs from Miami on March 31 and returns to port on April 6. Players can vie for both Prime and Main Tour titles in this unique setting.
The poker action continues to spread its wings with WPT Prime Slovakia hosted at Card Casino Bratislava from April 5 to 15. The WPT Prime Gold Coast returns to The Star Gold Coast for the third consecutive year, subject to regulatory approval. It’s scheduled from April 10 to 23. Also making a triumphant return for the third consecutive year is WPT Prime Vietnam, captivating poker enthusiasts at the Crown Poker Club in Hanoi from May 14 to 27. Rounding off this spectacular schedule is the WPT Prime Sanremo, taking place from May 31 to June 10 at Casinò di Sanremo.
