Game developer Design Works Gaming (DWG) has announced the expansion of its successful US partnership with Caesars Digital, bringing a wide array of DWG’s engaging gaming content to Caesars Sportsbook & Casino and the recently relaunched Tropicana Online Casino in the state of New Jersey.
Enhanced Market Reach in New Jersey
Following a successful launch of DWG titles at Caesars Sportsbook & Casino in Michigan earlier, this extension of the collaboration represents a significant step into New Jersey’s vibrant iGaming market. DWG’s games are seamlessly integrated into Caesars’ platforms via Light & Wonder’s OpenGaming technology, providing an even more enjoyable gaming experience for players in New Jersey.
Strengthening a Powerful Partnership
CEO of Design Works Gaming, Troy Zurawski, highlighted the strength of the partnership with Caesars Digital and the positive momentum it carries. He stated, “Caesars and DWG are a powerful combination that melds an operator with huge reach and audience appeal with the best-performing games in regulated U.S. markets. This momentum isn’t letting up anytime soon.”
The expansion of this partnership builds on the success of the initial launch in Michigan, solidifying the collaboration between DWG and Caesars Digital and making it a powerful force in the US iGaming landscape.
Design Works Gaming’s Strong Entry into the US Market
Design Works Gaming entered the US iGaming market in December 2021, initially partnering with Resorts Digital and Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG) in New Jersey. DWG’s games have already been rolled out on GoldenNuggetCasino.com and on Resorts Digital’s Resorts Casino and Mohegan Sun brands through integration with SG Digital’s OpenGaming platform.
With a rapidly growing portfolio of engaging and well-performing games, DWG has gained a strong foothold in the competitive US iGaming market, making it a sought-after game developer for major operators like Caesars Digital.
New Jersey’s Robust iGaming Market Growth
This expansion into New Jersey coincides with the continuous growth of the state’s iGaming market. According to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement’s report, the state’s casinos, horse tracks offering sports betting, and online partners of both reported a total revenue of $462.7 million in April. This figure represents a substantial 9.5% increase compared to April 2022 when the total revenue was $422.5 million.
The online gaming segment, in particular, has demonstrated remarkable growth, with an online gaming win of $158.9 million, reflecting a 16.1% year-on-year increase. Furthermore, sports wagering gross revenue experienced substantial growth, reaching $72.3 million, marking a notable 43.6% increase from $50.3 million in the previous year.
Design Works Gaming’s expanded partnership with Caesars Digital in New Jersey highlights the developer’s strong commitment to offering high-quality gaming content to the rapidly growing US iGaming market. With a successful presence in multiple states and a growing portfolio of engaging games, DWG is set to play a significant role in shaping the future of online gaming experiences in the United States.
