With over 19 years of experience in human resources, Ellis will spearhead the management of employee recruitment and retention, while also overseeing team member engagement, development, wellness programs, and benefits.
A Steadfast Leader with a Strong Track Record
Amy Ellis, who initially joined Graton Resort & Casino as Director of Human Resources in 2017, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new role. Prior to her tenure at the casino, she served as HR Director for Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds and held various human resources positions at Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market, Covenant House, and the Clark County School District.

Lana Rivera, the President of Graton Resort & Casino, highlighted the exceptional performance of the resort during the pandemic. Reporting directly to Greg Sarris, the Tribal Chairman for the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria, Lana Rivera continues her role as President of Graton Resort & Casino. She originally assumed the position of General Manager in 2019. Rivera also takes the lead on the recently unveiled $1 billion property expansion project, demonstrating her commitment to the casino’s growth and development.
