In June, Thunder Valley Casino Resort in California is set to mark a significant milestone as it celebrates its 20th anniversary. The resort, which first opened its doors in 2003, has consistently raised the bar in the gaming and entertainment industry. Over the years, Thunder Valley has undergone remarkable expansions and enhancements, earning recognition as an AAA Four Diamond award-winning resort since 2011. To honor this remarkable journey, special promotions and giveaways are planned throughout the month of June.
A Journey of Growth:
Since its inception, Thunder Valley Casino Resort has made substantial progress. Notable expansions have enriched the property, including the addition of a 17-story luxury hotel boasting over 400 rooms, a rejuvenating spa, and an outdoor pool complete with private cabanas and a bar.
In 2018, Thunder Valley elevated its gaming offerings by introducing a new 27-table poker room and an 800-seat Bingo Hall. Most recently, The Venue, a state-of-the-art entertainment venue spanning 150,000 square feet, was unveiled, further enhancing the resort’s entertainment options.
Community Engagement:
Thunder Valley has not only excelled in providing top-tier entertainment but has also been a strong pillar of support for the community. Over the years, the resort has collaborated with numerous non-profit organizations, exemplified by its annual charity golf tournament, which raised over $100,000 for charities.
Dedication to Excellence:
Dawn Clayton, the General Manager of Thunder Valley Casino Resort, expressed her gratitude for the 20 years of remarkable growth and success. She acknowledged that the achievements would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication of the resort’s exceptional team members and the loyalty of its guests. Looking ahead, she emphasized the boundless potential that Thunder Valley holds and the commitment to continuing to offer world-class amenities to guests for years to come.
Eagle Mountain Casino’s New Home:
The celebration of Thunder Valley’s 20th anniversary coincides with exciting developments in California’s gaming landscape. Eagle Mountain Casino, located in Porterville, California, has opened its doors at a new location, featuring over 1,700 slots and 20 table games. Owned and operated by the Tule River Tribe, this new venue offers a range of amenities, including a 2,000-seat event center, a hotel-convention center, a 24-hour diner, and a sports bar and grill.
Notably, the original Eagle Mountain Casino, which first opened in 1990, had to be relocated due to flooding in 2020. The new location retains some of the beloved original features, such as the River Steak House and the Yokuts Coffee House.
Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s 20th anniversary serves as a testament to its dedication to excellence and commitment to the community. The resort’s journey, marked by continuous growth and support for non-profit organizations, exemplifies its status as a premier entertainment destination. Concurrently, the opening of the new Eagle Mountain Casino reflects the ever-evolving landscape of gaming in California, offering an array of gaming and entertainment options to patrons. Both stories highlight the dynamic and vibrant gaming scene in the Golden State.
