The Pueblo of Isleta tribal government has appointed Karl Waitner as the Chief Executive Officer of Isleta Resort & Casino. In his new capacity, Waitner will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Isleta Resort & Casino, overseeing Palace West Casino, The Lakes & RV Park, and Isleta Golf Course. Additionally, he will collaborate with the Pueblo of Isleta Governor’s Office and Tribal Council on economic development initiatives aimed at fostering long-term growth and stability for Pueblo of Isleta Enterprises.
Experience and Leadership:
With nearly 25 years of experience in casino operations and hospitality, Waitner brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. He previously served as the VP of Hospitality in Portsmouth, Virginia, and VP of Operations in Schenectady, New York, at Rush Street Gaming. His diverse experience positions him well to drive operational excellence and contribute to the economic development goals of the Pueblo of Isleta.
