While this marks a 13% increase from June 2022, it reflects an 8% decline from May 2023. Sports Betting Highlights:
In June, sports betting revenue in Pennsylvania reached $23 million, indicating an impressive 80% surge compared to the same period in 2022. Despite this year-on-year growth, there was a notable decrease of 43.9% from May 2023. Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course emerged as the top-performing venue, contributing $74.4 million to the overall revenue. Noteworthy is Hollywood Casino Morgantown, experiencing a substantial year-on-year revenue increase of 28.9%, reaching $7.1 million.
iGaming’s Robust Performance:
Pennsylvania’s iGaming sector continued its robust performance, contributing $135.4 million to the overall revenue. The sustained strength of iGaming highlights the ongoing popularity of online casino offerings in the state.
