In July 2022, the combined revenue from regulated gaming and fantasy contests reached $429 million, representing a 7% increase compared to June 2022 and a solid 1.28% increase year-on-year.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board oversees a range of gaming activities, including slot machines, table games, internet gaming, sports wagering, fantasy contests, and video gaming terminals (VGTs). In July 2022, retail slots revenue experienced a marginal decline of 4% year-on-year, amounting to $213.9 million. Retail table games revenue also saw a slight decrease of 0.27% to $86.9 million.
Land-Based Casino Performance:
Despite overall industry growth, individual casino revenues varied. Parx Casino in Philadelphia maintained its position as the leading land-based casino, generating $56 million in revenue. Hollywood Casino Morgantown achieved a handle of $42 million, resulting in slightly over $1.3 million in revenue. Hollywood Casino at Penn National and DraftKings generated $1.5 million from $21.2 million in wagers.
