Charity Participation: Yorkshire-based charitable organizations are invited to apply for participation in the event.
Shortlist and Assignments: From the pool of applicants, 22 charities will be shortlisted and assigned to a specific horse that will compete during the festival.
Live Draw: The draw to assign charities to horses will take place live on television on August 24th, generating excitement and anticipation among participants and viewers.
The Sky Bet Ebor Race: The highlight of the festival is the Sky Bet Ebor race, scheduled for August 26th. The charity paired with the winning horse will secure a substantial £20,000 prize.
Additional Rewards:
Second and third place charities assigned to horses in the race will receive £5,000 and £2,000, respectively.
