These projects have made a significant difference in the lives of hundreds of families and students in need, reinforcing the foundation’s dedication to community welfare.
Addressing Poverty in Malate:
Malate, once a seawater swampland, has transformed into one of Manila’s bustling districts. Amidst its vibrant entertainment scene, the district harbors a substantial population of underprivileged families, street dwellers, and homeless children. Recognizing the dire circumstances faced by these communities, FBM Foundation, led by Director Rui Francisco, made it a top priority to provide aid and assistance to those in need.
The Bayanihan Para sa Kababayan Project:
Under the “Bayanihan para sa Kababayan” program, FBM Foundation embarked on a mission to alleviate poverty in Brgy 699, Malate. This initiative involved the distribution of essential goods to 200 families, including rice, canned goods, noodles, and eggs. The project was executed with the support of 12 dedicated volunteers and the participation of PAGCOR representatives Rodil De los Reyes and Toto Amador. This humanitarian effort aimed to ease the burdens faced by impoverished families.
The Building A Champion By A Champion Project:
Simultaneously, the “Building A Champion By A Champion” project played a pivotal role in addressing the needs of 200 underprivileged students. These students were provided with essential school supplies, including plastic envelopes, notebooks, pencils, crayons, rulers, and intermediate pads. These supplies are vital for their academic progress and offer hope for a brighter future.

The combined efforts of these two projects have had a profound and lasting impact on the residents of Brgy. 699, who express deep gratitude for the generosity of the foundation. By focusing on education and community outreach, the FBM Foundation has demonstrated its commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing adversity.

The “Bayanihan para sa Kababayan” program has planned six activities for this year, each designed to assist challenged Filipinos in various ways and uplift their spirits through care and support, without expecting anything in return.
