Parañaque City, July 8th, 2023 – A devastating fire wreaked havoc in Brgy. San Dionisio, Parañaque City, leaving numerous families displaced and in dire need of assistance. Responding swiftly to this crisis, the FBM Foundation, in collaboration with a dedicated team of 15 volunteers, initiated the “Bayanihan para sa Kababayan” project on July 26th, 2023.
Key Figures in the Relief Efforts
Renato Almeida, Director at FBM, worked closely with Amarillo Costa and Ivanery De Lacerda, FBM Foundation Representatives, and the team of volunteers to coordinate and deliver crucial aid to the affected families.
Ric Faraon, Vice President of the Marketing Group and CSR team of PAGCOR, also lent a helping hand, joining forces in the relief efforts.
Local Leadership and Community Support
The relief efforts were bolstered by the invaluable assistance of Joel Co, the Brgy. Kagawad Representative, and other Brgy. Officials. Their local knowledge and leadership played a pivotal role in the success of the FBM Foundation’s relief mission. Together, they reached out to approximately 800 affected families, extending their support even to those situated near the fire site.
Thoughtful Relief Packages
The FBM Foundation went the extra mile by carefully assembling relief packages for each family. These packages included essential items such as rice, canned goods, noodles, and hygiene kits. The goal was to alleviate their nutritional and personal care needs during this challenging period.
