According to a market performance report by iGaming Ontario (iGO) for the first quarter of the 2023-2024 fiscal year, Ontario’s iGaming market recorded impressive statistics. During the period from April 1 to June 30, a staggering $14 billion in wagers were placed.
The gaming revenue generated during this quarter amounted to C$545 million, marking a noteworthy 3.6% increase compared to the previous quarter’s total of $526 million. This substantial growth underlines the strong demand for iGaming services within the region.
While active player accounts slightly decreased during this period, dropping to 920,000 from 1.01 million reported in the previous quarter, there was a notable improvement in the average monthly spend per active player account, which rose to $197 compared to the previous quarter’s $174.
