In March, Kansas sportsbooks recorded a total of $206.3 million in bets, marking a 6.3 percent increase from the $194 million in bets placed in February. This achievement represents the highest total since the state’s sports betting market was inaugurated in September, surpassing the previous record set in January at $206 million.
Revenue from sports betting reached $46,000, reflecting a substantial 25 percent increase compared to the $35,916 generated in February. Operators paid $911,159 in taxes, marking an 80 percent month-over-month increase from the $1,134 in tax revenue reported in February.
