A report compiled by Deloitte in June sheds light on the positive economic contributions of Ontario’s iGaming market in its inaugural year. The industry contributed C$1.5 billion (US$1.2 billion) to the province, creating 12,000 new jobs and generating C$900 million in benefits through salary payments. The report emphasized that many positions created in Ontario’s gaming sector offered competitive wages, with an average exceeding the provincial average wage by C$30,000.
