Twentyfour-Seven QR Code Sticker Implementation
Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming have set a precedent by becoming the first hospitality brands to globally adopt the Twentyfour-Seven QR code sticker. Developed by survivors at Twentyfour-Seven, this sticker not only serves as a deterrent to traffickers but also provides critical information and support to victims. Implemented across 44 hotels and casinos in 13 countries, this initiative has already resulted in multiple law enforcement investigations.
Expansion of Youth Education Programs
Recognizing the importance of preventative measures, Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming have expanded their youth education programs. In Mexico, they introduced the Hard Rock Social Identity Quest (SIQ) to address online luring risks. The program has gained significant traction in the United States, with 60,000 teachers adopting the SIQ program, reaching an impressive 1.2 million high school students.
Change for Change Program in Gaming
Within the realm of gaming, Hard Rock has launched the “Change for Change” program. This initiative, running throughout January, encourages casino guests to donate change from redeemed gaming vouchers to combat human trafficking. The funds raised through this program will benefit community partners PACT and Twentyfour-Seven, creating a tangible impact on anti-trafficking efforts.
Collaboration with the American Gaming Association
Recognizing the need for industry-wide collaboration, Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming partnered with the American Gaming Association (AGA) to establish new training procedures within the gaming sector. As a result, the AGA’s Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force developed a free, industry-specific training program. This training incorporates trauma-informed care and insights from survivors, contributing to a more informed and responsive gaming industry.
