On Hustler Casino Live’s (HCL) High Stakes Friday cash game, Kristen Foxen pulled off a masterclass six-bet bluff on none other than HCL mainstay Nik “Airball” Arcot. Arcot, who was bluffing himself, folded and suffered an incredible six-figure loss on the night after making an ill-fated bet with Chance Kornuth.
The high-stakes game was filled with several HCL regulars, including Ryan Feldman, “Turbo”, “Rick”, “Big Mike”, and Ethan “Rampage” Yau.
Hand of the night
While this hand wasn’t the most expensive of the night, it was certainly one of the most talked about as Foxen read Airball like a book.
Players were playing $100/$200. Foxen opened to $800 from the lojack with ace-deuce of spades. Airball three-bet to $4,000 from the button with king-five offsuit. Foxen, surrounded by players toasting drinks, calmly four-bet to $11,000. After asking about Foxen’s stack, Arcot would quickly five-bet to $28,000.
Foxen, with players literally passing shots in front of her face, took her time before firing a massive $104,300 six-bet jam. Arcot, of course, was visibly frustrated and threw away his cards after a brief hand funeral.
Airball suffers huge loss
Nik Airball ended up down $399,900 on the night, it’s only the eighth-largest single-stream loss in his 274-episode career. Highroll Poker claims that he’s dropped below Tom Dwan and is now sixth on the all-time TV cash game list, with over $4M in career live earnings.
All talk, no walk
Airball also lost an additional $10,000 to four-time bracelet winner and Chip Leader Coaching’s (CLC) Chance Kornuth. Kornuth bet Airball that Foxen, who is also part of CLC, would have a better night. She would do so by a considerable distance.
Arcot was calling Foxen “free money”, claiming that tournament players “suck” at cash games. Foxen, however, had the last laugh, which put a couple of $5K chips in Kornuth’s pocket.
Foxen racked up a small $17,100 win on stream. While she’s only appeared 10 times on stream, she’s booked an impressive $342,500 in lifetime TV cash profit, good for $6,587 an hour, more than double Airball’s lifetime $2,961 hourly.
Who is Kristen Foxen?
Kristen Foxen is, by most measures, the greatest female poker player of all time. The five-time GPI Female Player of the Year award winner also finished 21st in the overall GPI rankings for 2025.
Foxen, who has become a Triton Super High Roller regular in the last 14 months, had another phenomenal year, with the 32nd-ranked player in the world adding 39 cashes, three wins, and over $4.65 million to her live career tournament earnings of well over $13 million. That number is the most cash ever won by a woman, taking over the top spot from Vanessa Selbst after she held the record for well over a decade. It’s also the seventh-most ever won by a Canadian and 118th all-time.
She grew up playing poker when she was in college in 2006 and quickly became one of the biggest cash game grinders online. She was one of a select few players who earned the Supernova Elite status on PokerStars in 2011, 2012, and 2013, which generally required players to play 2,500,000 hands per year, which is roughly 7,000 hands a day.
Kristen Foxen’s World Series of Poker bracelets
Foxen is also a five-time WSOP bracelet winner and made waves around the poker world for her 13th-place finish in the 2024 WSOP Main Event.
Foxen’s five bracelets are the most by a woman. Four of her five bracelets came in open events, with her last three coming online.
