Push Gaming names Alistair Johnston as chief commercial officer

Star execs in breach of Corporations Act

Push Gaming has appointed Alistair Johnston as chief commercial officer, a move the supplier framed as part of its commercial expansion plans for 2026. The company said Johnston joins from Games Global, where he spent four years working on studio go-to-market strategy, and previously held senior roles at Evolution and Microgaming.

Push said the appointment follows an earlier 2026 leadership hire, naming Chris Arriola as chief operating officer.

What Push Gaming said Johnston will lead

Push said Johnston will drive its commercial strategy and support expansion across regulated markets. In the company’s announcement, Johnston pointed to growth ambitions in Italy and Brazil and referenced PrizeFlex as part of the engagement roadmap.

Suppliers are positioning for growth in newly regulated and expanding markets, including Brazil, which has become one of the biggest iGaming markets in the world.

How the CEO framed the hire

CEO James Marshall described 2026 as a major year for Push and said Johnston’s experience will be important as the company builds on existing momentum and prepares new releases. Push also highlighted Johnston’s background at large iGaming brands as a commercial advantage.

What to watch next at Push Gaming

Push did not publish a market-by-market expansion schedule tied to the hire. The near-term signals will be commercial: which operator partnerships expand, where new launches land, and how aggressively the company pushes into the regulated jurisdictions it highlighted.
