ENJOY has signed its first operator agreement in Italy, supplying games to BetFlag after receiving approval to enter the market last month. The deal gives the supplier its first live route into one of Europe’s most established online gambling jurisdictions.
The timing is no surprise. ENJOY said on March 24 that it had been certified to supply content in Italy, and a week later it announced BetFlag as its first local operator partner. That sequence suggests the company moved quickly once the regulatory step was out of the way.
BetFlag is taking slots and live content from the new supplier
The agreement will bring a selection of ENJOY games to BetFlag, including slot titles and live entertainment products such as HotFire Diamonds XXL and Energy Roulette Hold & Win. BetFlag is part of the Lottomatica Group, which gives ENJOY a well-known local brand for its first Italian rollout.
That matters for a supplier entering a mature market. Italy is not short on licensed operators or established content providers, so a first deal with a recognized local brand carries more weight than a quieter launch through a smaller skin.
Italy was already part of ENJOY’s regulated-market plan
ENJOY had flagged Italy as a target before this partnership landed. On its own site, the company said market approval was part of a regulated expansion strategy and described Italy as one of Europe’s most competitive iGaming markets.
That framing fits the deal with BetFlag. This is not a broad acquisition play or a rushed land grab. It looks more like a controlled entry into a market where suppliers need local distribution, certified content, and a strong first operator relationship to get any traction at all.
The first Italian deal gives ENJOY a tougher test
A first deal is still just a first deal. ENJOY now has to show it can hold space in a market where content depth is already high and operators have plenty of supplier options.
Still, this is the kind of step that matters for a young supplier. Italy gives ENJOY a proper regulated-market test, and BetFlag gives it a recognizable starting point.
