CasinoNews.io - Editorial transparency

CasinoNews.io is a dedicated, independent news publication in the online gaming and gambling space. All of our journalists follow meticulously crafted guidelines that ensure our work provides trusted, unbiased coverage of industry news and events relevant to industry stakeholders and gaming enthusiasts alike.

Our work

Our team of journalists consists of experts within gambling, gaming, esports, poker, sports, and betting. Each journalist brings deep industry knowledge and years of hands-on experience. We use their strengths to ensure our articles reflect the highest level of expertise. Topics are pitched and vetted against relevance and importance, while taking extra care to ensure a broad coverage of gaming and gambling as a whole.

Responsible gambling

We report on gambling as a form of entertainment, not a way to make money. We avoid language that glamorises excessive or unsafe play. Where relevant, we highlight responsible gambling tools and resources provided by regulators and operators.

Quality assurance

Every piece of content created is reviewed and verified by experienced igaming analysts and editors before publishing. Our editors are involved in the entire article process, from pitching to publication, to maintenance. We only use official sources and reliable data for all content we produce and publish.

We prioritize primary sources, such as regulatory data, company filings, and direct statements. When we use secondary sources, we cross-check key facts before publication. We may use technological tools to support our work, but human journalists and editors remain responsible for every article we publish.

Conflicts of interest

We do not sell coverage. Our journalists and editors may not accept payments or incentives from the brands we cover. If a team member has a personal or financial connection to a company, they will not cover that company. We avoid situations that could compromise, or appear to compromise, our independence.

Financial transparency

For now, and for the foreseeable future, CasinoNews.io is not monetizing the website. Our priority is to build a high-integrity journalistic product that serves the industry and its readers without commercial pressure.

If we introduce advertising at a later stage, it will be clearly identified and kept fully separate from editorial decision-making. Our reporting, analysis, and investigative work will remain completely independent at all times.

Our commitment is simple: deliver credible, accurate, and relevant journalism while maintaining the highest standards of transparency and trust.

Sponsored content

We will never post sponsored content on CasinoNews.io. Sponsored content does not align with our editorial standards, and as a result, you will not see it on our site.

Mistakes and updates

Mistakes happen, and situations change. If we (or you) notice that something is incorrect in an article, we will adjust it. Our articles clearly state when they were last updated. If you notice something is wrong or have ideas on how we can make our article or website even better, send us an email at hey@casinonews.io.

We treat all complaints about accuracy, fairness, or ethics seriously. When you contact us, an editor reviews your message and, where needed, investigates and responds.
