Brock Wilson has surged to the top of the 2026 PokerGO Cup standings after winning the latest $10,000 event for $210,000, crushing the 70-entry field.
Wilson overcame a massive 8-to-1 chip deficit against Shannon Shorr in heads-up play to win his second event of the series. For Wilson, it was his fourth PGT title.
Wilson also moved up to third on the PGT season-long leaderboard, trailing only PGT Mixed Games and Mixed Games Super High Roller Bowl champion Yuri Dzivielevski and Michael Berk, who won PokerGO Cup Event #5.
2026 PokerGO Cup Event #6: $10,100 NLH final table results
The 70-entry field paid out 10 players, including Filipp Khavin, Dong Min Suh, and Sam Soverel, who all missed the official seven-man final table. Six players came back for Day 2 following Brandon Wilson’s elimination.
Qinghai Pan, who has cashed a series-high five times, was the first to bust on Day 2 after Wilson’s ace-king outflipped his pocket jacks. Pan would take home $38,500 and hop into Event #7, where he finished third for another $90,450.
After Wilson busted Darren Elias with pocket aces against ace-jack for a cool $52,500, WPT Venetian Spring Poker Championship winner Nick Seward was Wilson’s next victim. Seward jammed his short stack with jack-deuce suited into Wilson’s ace-ten suited and took home $70,000 for his troubles.
Three-handed play would go on for multiple hours, with the chip lead bouncing between Wilson, Shorr, and Chris “Big Huni” Hunichen. Though Big Huni would amass a big chip lead, he would lose nearly everything with top pair and the nut flush draw against Shorr’s turned two pair. He couldn’t improve and would bust the next hand with king-six against Shorr’s ace-five suited.
Though Shorr had an 8-to-1 chip lead, Wilson was undeterred and got back to even after sucking out with queen-three against pocket eights and pulling off a successful river bluff with queen-high on a king-high board against Shorr’s pocket jacks.
Shorr would then lose all but half a big blind, bluffing off his stack with queen-high and a missed flush draw on the river against Wilson’s rivered trips. Though Shorr would get back to eight bigs, he ran another unsuccessful bluff to go back down to one-quarter of a big blind.
A hand later, Shorr’s ten-three couldn’t beat Wilson’s king-seven to complete Wilson’s phenomenal comeback.

While Wilson has four WSOP Circuit rings and nearly $13 million in career live tournament earnings, the PokerCoaching.com coach would consider winning the PokerGO Cup the biggest achievement of his career.
“It would be my biggest accomplishment, for sure. It would mean a lot to me.
“There are only a few [PGT series] a year. I play every single one. It’s very competitive. A lot of great players in here.”
