Triton Poker has announced that it will award the 2026 Ivan Leow Player of the Year with a $200,000 bonus. Triton Poker will also give a cash prize to the top-10 players in what they call a “dynamic rewards pool”, which will grow as the number of entries increases throughout the new year.
The award is named after Triton Poker co-founder Ivan Leow, who died from a heart attack at Triton Cyprus in 2022 at the age of 39.
Triton Poker Player of the Year history
While the award has not been handed out yet, Artur Martirosian has won the Season 4 Ivan Leow Player of the Year award. The Russian earned $7.7 million in Triton events, winning three trophies and making 11 final tables. His 5,296 Player of the Year points were an incredible 700 points better than second-place finisher Alex Foxen.
Danny Tang won the official Season 3 award and was simultaneously named a Triton Poker ambassador. All-time Triton trophy winner Jason Koon won the Season 2 award, having won seven titles that season. No other player has ever won more than five career Triton Poker titles.

Another massive stop expected
Jeju has been the host of the largest Triton Poker series, with last year’s visit shattering all sorts of records. Last March, Triton Poker Jeju attracted a tour-record 391 entries to a $25,000 buy-in NLH event. That was then followed up by an eye-watering 285 entries in the $100K Main Event. Wen Huang earned the staggering $5,555,000 top prize.
This will be the first stop on the calendar. Triton Montenegro has also been announced for May 13-28. It’s widely expected that there will be a total of four stops, including a second stop in Jeju, followed by the events at WSOP Paradise.
Triton ONE is back
Triton ONE will make its second appearance as Triton Poker’s brand-new feeder competition. They will put on 14 trophy events with buy-ins ranging from $2,000 to $15,000, with an $8,000 Main Event. There are also a pair of women’s-only events.
Last September, Joshua Gebissa won the inaugural Main Event, topping the 1,046-entry field to win $975,225. 2025 GPI Player of the Year Punnat Punsri won the most money, taking home $1.2 million after a heads-up deal.
Triton Poker announced that there would be a Triton ONE Player of the Year award, giving a single player $66,000 in a winner-takes-all format.
