WSOP Europe 2026 is in the books and was, by all measures, an incredible success. Following years of relative obscurity, lowering the Main Event price point from €10,300 to €5,300, adding a €10,000,000 guarantee, and making WSOP Europe events a part of the World Series of Poker Player of the Year have seen entry numbers soar through the roof in virtually every event. It’s also worth mentioning that the move from Rozvadov, a quiet border town virtually in the middle of nowhere, to Prague has also helped dramatically.
A total of 15 bracelets were awarded, including the crown jewel that was the Main Event bracelet, with Marius Kudzmanas taking home €2,000,000 for his victory.
Germany reigned supreme at WSOP Europe, winning five of the 15 bracelets awarded.

2026 WSOP Player of the Year standings
Thanks to the new WSOP Player of the Year scoring system, WSOP Europe Main Event winner Marius Kudzmanas has the clubhouse lead.
It’s worth remembering that there were only 15 bracelet events in Prague, and there’s expected to be a similar number of bracelets awarded at WSOP Paradise. Conversely, there are 100 live bracelet events at the WSOP flagship series in Las Vegas, meaning that results from Prague should only make up a small percentage of a player’s overall score.
Only the player’s top 15 scores will count toward the leaderboard, and the new scoring system is extremely top-heavy. Players will mostly benefit from extremely deep runs in large-field events, receiving a 4x multiplier for making the final table and a 6x multiplier for winning the event.
This is evidenced by the fact that every single player in the top 10 of the WSOP Player of the Year standings, outside of Shaun Deeb, won a bracelet in Prague.
Deeb had a herculean effort in Prague, finishing second in two events, including the 2,662-entry Colossus, and three final tables overall. He cashed six of the 15 events and is already positioning himself to make a serious run at his third-career WSOP Player of the Year win.
From the $1,000,000 prize pool, the top three players will win a $100,000 WSOP Paradise package. 4th to 15th place will receive a $30,000 Super Main Event Package, while 16th to 50th receive a $5,000 Circuit Championship package. One of those players will be upgraded to the $30,000 package via random draw.
From there, 51st to 100th place on the leaderboard will receive a $2,500 Circuit Championship ticket, though six of those players will receive an upgrade to the $5,000 package via random draw.
