The countdown to the 2026 WSOP is officially on as the 2026 WSOP schedule has been released. WSOP 2026 will take place on the Las Vegas Strip from May 26 through July 15, with players competing at both the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Players will, once again, go after 100 bracelets, matching last year’s record total.
In addition, the “WSOP Summer Circuit” will take place from July 14 to July 25 in Las Vegas, ensuring a seamless transition from the bracelet series to the beginning of the WSOP Circuit season.
“As we saw in 2025, thousands of incredible stories are waiting to be told at the World Series of Poker,” said Ty Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of WSOP.
“We’re more committed than ever to being poker’s unquestioned biggest stage and to shining a brighter spotlight on our favorite game.”
“Our favorite time of year is around the corner, and we cannot wait to once again welcome the poker world back to the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas,” said Jack Effel, Senior Vice President of Poker Operations at Caesars Entertainment.

This is, of course, the second of three series in the WSOP Player of the Year competition as WSOP Europe starts in just six weeks.

The World Series of Poker starts with a brand-new event, the $550 Mini Mystery Millions on May 26, and finishes with the $1,000 Super Turbo No-Limit Hold’em event on July 15.

Buy-in ranges
There are a total of 100 bracelet events, with 15 of them coming in at under $1,000. The largest buy-in level will be the $1,000-$1,999 price point, with 35 events coming in at either $1,000, $1,500, or $1,700.
13 events will be offered between $2,000 and $3,000, while there are also six $5,000 events.
For the high rollers, there are a total of 31 events that cost at least $10,000, going all the way up to $250,000.

New events, new coverage
One of the biggest announcements that WSOP made is that they will be offering a free daily livestream available to an international audience on WSOP’s YouTube channel. The WSOP will be moving the set to Paris Las Vegas.
There are five brand new tournaments on the cards this year, most notably, a $550 Mystery Bounty that guarantees at least one player pulls a $1,000,000 bounty.
A five-card PLO championship and a “Pick Your PLO” event are on offer. The “Pick Your PLO” will be a Dealer’s Choice format that includes PLO, PLO8, PLO5, and Big O.

Return of the November Nine?
The WSOP has mysteriously left the WSOP Main Event final table date TBD, making many wonder if they will revert to adding a significant delay. The exact wording from WSOP.com is: “specifics on the Main Event final table play dates and broadcast coverage to be announced at a later date.”
It’s worth remembering that from 2008 to 2016, the WSOP waited four months after a final table was formed to bring back the nine finalists. These players were known as the “November Nine.”
