EPT Paris is about halfway done, and the massive €100,000 Super High Roller kicked off on Sunday. However, there was the Super High Roller Warm Up to take care of first, with Daniel Dvoress coming out on top.
Dvoress topped the 32-player field to win €286,040 ($336,997) and his fourth-career EPT title, his third coming at EPT Paris.
With the win, along with his fourth-place finish in the €20,000 NL Hold’em event earlier in the week, the Canadian has now leapfrogged Steve O’Dwyer into 15th on poker’s all-time money list.
Reaction
Dvoress hasn’t played poker since WSOP Paradise at the end of the year, where he enjoyed huge success, finishing third in the $100,000 Triton PLO Main Event for over $1.1 million and finishing seventh in the $125,000 Triton 7-Max for over $550,000.
Though the 37-year-old enjoyed a well-deserved two months off, he got back on the right foot, scoring a victory in his maiden series of the year. However, he won’t take his foot off the brake, as he’ll jump straight into the vigorous EPT and Triton schedule before a packed 2026 World Series of Poker.
“I try to treat each festival and each tournament individually,” Dvoress told PokerNews after the win. “But you want to get things started in the right direction.
“It’s nice to get back into it and immediately secure some cashes.
“There’s just so much poker coming up. There’s Triton Jeju and then EPT Monte-Carlo. Then there’s Triton Montenegro. I’m planning to do all of it. So, it is important to take it one step at a time, but it is also nice to get off on the right foot.”
Daniel Dvoress’ EPT titles
Dvoress has now won four Spadies, with three of those titles coming in Paris. All four of his EPT titles have come at the £/€25,000 buy-in level.
| Year | Venue | Event | Prize | Players |
| 2026 | EPT Paris | €25,000 Super High Roller Warm Up | €286,040 | 32 |

| 2022 | EPT London | £25,000 No Limit Hold’em | £196,170 | 19 |
Unfortunately, Dvoress failed to cash in the €100,000 Super High Roller today, finishing 10th in the 24-player field. However, he jumped into the €25,000 PLO High Roller and is right in the thick of it, looking to win his fifth EPT title.
On top of the EPT Paris Main Event, there’s still a huge number of high roller tournaments on offer this week, including the €50,000 Super High Roller Second Chance, a pair of €25,000 events, and a handful of €10,300 EPT Paris High Rollers.
