Neymar makes pair of PokerStars SCOOP Day 2s

Neymar SCOOP

The first day of the 2026 PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) is in the books, and while a couple of titles have been claimed, it’s Santos striker Neymar who is making all the headlines.

Brazil’s all-time top scorer has made a pair of major SCOOP Day 2s. The PokerStars ambassador is chip-leading the SCOOP 02-H: $530 SCOOP Kickoff while also making the SCOOP 03-H: $1,050 NLHE Mystery Warm-Up final table.

SCOOP 03-H: $1,050 NLHE Mystery Warm-Up final table

The SCOOP $1K Mystery Bounty is down to the final nine players, and it’s Neymar bringing up the rear. He is the short stack, with 865,316 chips, with the blinds at 12,500/25,000, giving the Brazilian superstar just under 35 big blinds.

Despite the 141-player field being reduced to the final nine, Neymar has, unfortunately, not claimed a bounty.

$13,291 is reserved for the champion, but valuable envelopes of $20,000 and $10,000 are still up for grabs.

SCOOP 02-H: $530 NLHE SCOOP Kickoff

In the $530 NLH SCOOP Kickoff, Neymar finished Day 1 leading the 16 remaining players from the 240-entry field. With 2,244,918 chips to his name and the blinds at 17,500/35,000, Neymar has roughly 64 big blinds to play with. A prize of $23,074 is reserved for the champion, though we’re positive that the Brazilian is solely focused on winning his maiden SCOOP title.

Neymar’s biggest poker results

While Neymar has yet to win a COOP title, he has posted a few very impressive results against the best players in the world.

Neymar’s biggest online tournament cash to date came in the 2022 PokerStars Winter Series, finishing third in a $10,300 High Roller for $125,678.

His best COOP finish didn’t come during SCOOP, but during last year’s WCOOP. He finished second in WCOOP Event #73-H Titans NLHE, a 129-entry $5,200 buy-in event, cashing for $99,075.

It appears that the PokerStars Titans $5,200 High Roller is Neymar’s preferred tournament of choice. He’s finished 2nd ($66,056) in 2024, 4th in 2025 ($30,234), 5th in 2025 ($16,995), and 6th in 2023 ($29,313).

In live play, he often hosts super-high roller events in Brazil. He most recently came in 4th place in a 32-entry R$100,000 (~$20,000 USD) BSOP One Neymar Jr. Edition Super High Roller, earning $63,400. William Arruda and Gerardo Rodriguez chopped the top prize, taking roughly $150,000 each.

Though Neymar frequents poker stops, especially at WSOP and in Brazil, he only has 11 live cashes to his name, totalling $116,632.
