Patrick “pads” Leonard has had a SCOOP to remember, and we’re not even halfway through the Spring Championship of Online Poker. Leonard won three SCOOP trophies in three different modalities in three days, winning the $215 FL 2-7 Triple Draw for $5,569 early Wednesday morning.
Leonard topped a field of 132 entries to win his 13th title, outlasting fellow Brits CnlSayWanker and The TJS to pull off an incredible triple.

The heater of heaters?
Not only is Leonard on three SCOOP titles this year, Pads is also leading all players in final table appearances. After just 11 days, Leonard has made an astounding 13 final tables. However, he’s not the only one having a fantastic SCOOP season.
Renan ‘Internett93o’ Bruschi and “king153246”, who have both made 10 final tables, both have an incredible four titles so far in 2026 and will look to challenge Calvin Anderson’s record of five titles. Anderson set the record in 2018, winning championships in 8-Game, Razz, PLO8, Stud Hi-Lo, and Mixed Triple Draw.
Andre ‘Premove’ Skvortsov won both the medium and high editions of the no-limit Omaha hi-lo event on the same night to move up to 13 SCOOP titles himself last Thursday.
Popular British player and 888poker ambassador Ian Simpson won the $55 SCOOP 53-M $55 Deep Stacks for $17,592, topping a field of 2,394 players to win his first-career SCOOP trophy.
Finally, popular COOP grinder “FAL1st” has achieved 90 cashes, followed by Bruschi’s 75 cashes and Leonard’s 59. However, “FAL1st” has received a lot of criticism for incessantly rebuying and going all-in in order to generate more points strictly for the SCOOP leaderboard.
Patrick Leonard’s SCOOP titles
After winning his maiden SCOOP title in 2017, Leonard has become one of SCOOP’s most loyal grinders. He has won at least one SCOOP title in each of the last seven years.
Leonard won the SCOOP High Leaderboard in 2024, cementing his place in poker history. This came after winning the overall WCOOP Leaderboard in 2023, winning an incredible four titles
