Online casino Slots Temple and game developer Greentube have announced a strategic partnership, with the former now gaining access to the developer’s entire range of titles.
The partnership comes after the CEO at Slots Temple claimed he and his team had listened to the feedback of their players, who were clamoring for greater diversity in the slot roster.
Fraser Linkleter, Chief Executive Officer at Slots Temple, said: “At Slots Temple, we are committed to listening to our fans and taking their feedback on board. Greentube’s slots are hugely popular on land-based terminals up and down the country, and our players can now enjoy them from the comfort of their homes thanks to this exciting new partnership.”
Jordan Wall, Sales and Key Account Manager at Greentube, said: “We are delighted to bring our slot portfolio to Slots Temple. The operator is a unique voice within the industry, with a dedicated player-base that is passionate about gaming. We can’t wait to see how their players respond to our games, and we look forward to working closely with them in the future.”
Greentube is a subsidiary of NOVOMATIC as the Digital Gaming and Entertainment division. That means it is responsible for facilitating NOVOMATIC slots to online audiences.
NOVOMATIC is one of the most prolific land-based gaming suppliers in operation. Its slots have dominated pubs and casino floors down the years, long before online casinos were a twinkle in the eye of the modern day casino enthusiast.
Greentube represents latest deal in busy year for Slots Temple
The UK-facing Slots Temple has had a year brimming with new business partnerships. Back in July, they revealed a collaboration with world-renowned developer Netgaming and in September they struck a deal with Pragmatic Play for its slot tournament profile .
Mr Linkleter said of the Pragmatic Play deal at the time: “Tournaments are the beating heart of everything we offer at Slots Temple. This partnership demonstrates our commitment to delivering engaging gameplay with the best in the industry.”
Recent research indicates that operators with deeper and more varied portfolios tend to record higher engagement and stronger retention. Nicholas Hogan, CEO of ReelMetrics, a slot performance analytics company that claims to be the largest independent aggregator of slot machine data in the world, said of slots back in 2023: “Mix matters in a big way. Through pretty modest manipulation of inventory, we can make huge changes.”
Slots Temple partnership means yet another client for Greentube
It’s also been a busy 2025 for Greentube. The subsidiary of NOVOMATIC has announced deals with Fanatics Sportsbook and Casino in the USA, Hollywoodbets in South Africa, and Hrvatska Lutrija in the Croatian market.
According to a VMware Cloud Foundation case study, the company now has 25 million consumers and 120 B2B partners worldwide. The large number of business relationships requires the company to be nimble in the international regulatory landscape.
Global distribution and regulatory resilience is a highline many developers are attempting to traverse. To help them manage different regions, they employ VMware Cloud Foundation, a unified private cloud platform that brings together compute, storage, networking, security, and management in one place. It means organizations can run any workload on an agile, scalable, and secure infrastructure.
Branislav Dudic, team leader of IT Infrastructure at Greentube, said:.”As soon as VMware Cloud Foundation was in place, we had one place to see many different features. We can scale, manage, upgrade and share all in one place. This holistic view significantly helps the business.”
The bigger picture
The regulatory demands facing UK operators are increasing all the time and it is reshaping the environment for growth. The 2025 Gambling Act Overhaul is one such pressuring factor. One massive ramification of that bill, according to leading independent professional legal research company Chambers and Partners, is the “introduction of mandatory financial risk checks for online gamblers.”
“From this point on, operators are required to conduct tiered affordability assessments, especially when a customer’s losses cross certain thresholds. This shift reflects growing political pressure to mitigate gambling addiction and protect vulnerable users”
Gambling participation in the United Kingdom has fallen to its lowest level since 2023, according to Gambling Survey for Great Britain published by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) earlier in the year.
With fewer promotional levers available to Slots Temple, content differentiation has become a key strategy for maintaining user interest. The new partnership with Greentube could prove a crucial one for the operator, as it battles headwinds in the UK and beyond.
