Slot provider GAMOMAT is saying “bom dia” to Brazil after offering its services to the South American country, it has been announced, accessing an exploding regulated market. The move will ensure its biggest slot titles will be available to a rapidly expanding player pool.
The move was facilitated by its strategic partnership with Bragg Gaming Group, which has already helped GAMOMAT access the Canadian and U.S. markets.
GAMOMAT Development chief strategy officer Sebastian Reddig said: “Entering the fast-growing regulated Brazilian iGaming market is a wonderful achievement for the company. Brazil is a booming market, and we are proud to bring GAMOMAT’s catalogue of in-house content to Brazilian players, marking a new era for the business.”
New market exploding
The news of GAMOMAT providing its services to Brazil was announced just days after the country was reported to become the fifth-largest betting market in the world, with projected revenues of $4.139 billion . It lies only behind Italy ($4.617 billion), Russia ($4.515 billion), the United States ($72.1 billion) and the United Kingdom (approximately $16 billion).
According to a media article citing Regulus Partners, a global strategic advisory business focussed on the sports and leisure sectors, the valuation is down to the successful roll out of regulation in Brazil earlier in the year. The projections are based on public company financial reports and market data, according to the firm.
Some shifts in the approach to gambling in Brazil have accelerated its ascent into one of the world’s biggest markets. Lowering payment friction and improving conversion rates after the mass adoption of Pix played a huge part, while the post-pandemic surge in online entertainment expanded the digital customer base.
Localisation has become another competitive advantage, with Brazilian Portuguese content outperforming generic releases in early testing.
Who are GAMOMAT?
Based out of Germany, GAMOMAT is an award-winning developer with more than 250 slots on the market. In January 2025, it was announced as the Game Studio of the Year at the prestigious International Gaming Awards at a glittering awards ceremony in Barcelona.
Robert Kocher, Managing Director of GAMOMAT Distribution GmbH, remarked on receiving the award at the time: ““Walking away with Game Studio of the Year is a magical moment for the team. We care deeply about our craft and are thankful for all who contribute to producing titles that bring joy and commercial success in equal measure. This recognition gives us even more impetus to double down and make this year an even better one for the company.”
The Brazilian market news caps a fine year for the developer.
Partnership with Bragg Gaming Group
GAMOMAT is expanding into so many international markets as a result of its strategic partnership with Bragg Gaming Group. The international full-service iGaming content and technology solutions provider to the worldwide gambling industry is a key player in helping facilitate new moves into new territories.
They were shortlisted in nine separate categories for the upcoming International Gaming Awards and nominated for the Online Casino Supplier of the Year and Platform Provider of the Year at the 2026 Global Gaming Awards.
The partnership between the two has existed for nearly ten years. It was originally established between ORYX Gaming and GAMOMAT, before the former was subsumed by Bragg Gaming Group in a takeover.
At the time, Oryx CEO Matevz Mazij said: “GAMOMAT’s exceptional games align perfectly with our long-term objectives as our client base continues to expand.” Here in 2026, it appears the long-term objectives are very much in progress.
Other developers to open up shop in Brazil
There are some other big names to recently dip their toes into opportunity
Live casino specialist Evolution, for example, made headlines in mid-2025 by opening its first live casino studio in São Paulo to become the first fully localised live studio in Brazil. The facility was launched shortly after regulation went into effect and delivers live dealer tables in Brazilian Portuguese, including Blackjack Clássico, Brazilian-style Blackjack, as well as localised versions of global titles such as Crazy Time and XXXtreme Lightning Roulette.
Elsewhere, Games Global partnered with Brazil-based studio Spin Gaming to launch “Brazil’s first fully localised live casino offering,” while Southeast-Asia operator DigiPlus has scheduled its Brazil launch for September 2025, marking its first expansion outside its home region.
It remains to be seen which other developers will be making the move to Brazil, but at the current rate of expansion, it would be no surprise to see Brazil continue to climb the list of betting markets. Only time will tell.
