Playtech expands SkillOnNet deal with Portugal and Brazil launches

Playtech has strengthened its long-running partnership with SkillOnNet through a new rollout of casino and bingo content in Portugal and Brazil, with Greece and Peru lined up to follow. The latest phase adds Playtech’s portfolio across more regulated markets and extends a relationship that had already moved deeper into bingo late last year.

The deal gives Playtech more distribution through SkillOnNet’s local brands in markets where the operator is already established, while also giving SkillOnNet more authority as competition tightens across the regions.

Portugal and Brazil are live while Greece and Peru are next in line

The current rollout is already active in Portugal and Brazil, with SkillOnNet saying Greece is expected to go live soon and Peru is also scheduled for launch. The company has described all four as strategically important markets, which fits its existing footprint across Europe and South America.

That market mix is important. SkillOnNet already operates BacanaPlay in Portugal, while in Brazil it launched PlayUZU.bet.br and BacanaPlay.bet.br after securing provisional authorization when the country’s new regulated online market opened in January 2025. It also secured a Peru license in 2024, giving both companies a clearer route to keep expanding together rather than entering individually.

PlayOJO Bingo is bringing Playtech’s network model into more markets

A key part of the deal is the addition of Playtech’s iBingo platform to PlayOJO Bingo. That matters because bingo performs differently from slots or sportsbook products. This also builds on the November 2025 agreement that made Playtech the exclusive bingo provider for SkillOnNet in the UK and Mexico.

At that stage, SkillOnNet migrated brands including PlayOJO and PlayUZU onto Playtech’s next-generation bingo platform, giving the current Portugal and Brazil rollout a clearer strategic context.

The broader partnership is now about scaling operations in regulated markets

For Playtech, the rollout extends its B2B strategy by adding more regulated-market distribution through an operator already active across multiple jurisdictions. For SkillOnNet, it strengthens the content and bingo infrastructure behind brands it is already using to grow in Portugal, Brazil, and other newly regulated or expanding markets.

Portugal and Brazil are already live, and the focus now shifts to bringing Greece and Peru into the same expanded Playtech-SkillOnNet setup.
