The US Poker Open is one of the most notable series on the PokerGO Tour, and it’s not surprising that a ton of familiar names have crushed it in 2026.
Both Kristen and Alex Foxen both recorded victories over the last few days, while Brock Wilson recorded his second victory of the series, catapulting himself into the lead.
Elder statesman Peter Placey, with only 24 career cashes to his name, earned $224,000 by winning US Poker Open Event #5.
Through seven events, Jeremy Ausmus has unbelievably finished in second place on three occasions, winning the most prize money aside from Wilson.
Wilson does the double
Brock Wilson has put himself in contention to win his second PGT Player of the Series award in 2026, winning US Poker Open Event #6. The $10,300 buy-in event attracted 80 runners, with Wilson earning $224,000 for the victory.
Wilson defeated Nick Schulman heads-up to win his sixth-career PGT title. Should he win the US Poker Open, he’ll become just the second player ever to win back-to-back PGT Player of the Series. Sean Winter accomplished that feat in 2022.

Foxens do the business
Alex Foxen won his 13th PGT title, winning US Poker Open Event #7, winning $210,000 after topping the 70-entry field. With the win, Foxen moves one win behind Sam Soverel for the most recognized wins in PokerGO Tour history.
Ali Imsirovic was the far-and-away leader with more than 20 PGT victories, including an astonishing 14 PGT wins in 2021 alone. However, he and Jake Schindler have been indefinitely suspended from the PGT after a highly publicized cheating scandal, and it appears they will not recognize his previous achievements.
Kristen Foxen also started the weekend on the right foot by winning US Poker Open Event #4, topping the 66-entry field to win $198,000 and her fifth PGT title. Both Kristen and Alex Foxen are in the top eight of the US Poker Open leaderboard standings with just three events to play.
2026 U.S. Poker Open leaderboard
With two wins and four cashes, Brock Wilson is far and away the clubhouse leader. The winner of the US Poker Open receives the famous Golden Eagle trophy and a $25K PGT Passport.
Brock Wilson has been tremendous at the PokerGO Studio in 2026, having twice as many wins as anyone else this year, having won the 2026 PokerGO Cup after a pair of wins and four cashes in that series.
That being said, Wilson is at the very top of the 2026 PokerGO Tour standings, though the season is still very young.
