New Jersey’s gaming market generated $596.4 million in revenue in March 2026, up 9.2% from a year earlier. Growth in iGaming and sports betting was stronger than growth at Atlantic City’s casino hotels. The figures were released by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

Internet gaming revenue reached $272.1 million for the month, a rise of 11.6% from March 2025. Sports wagering revenue climbed 22.8% to $87.6 million. Casino win from the state’s nine casino hotels rose 2.5% to $236.7 million.

iGaming was the biggest revenue segment in March

Online casino was the largest source of revenue in the market for the month. The March total of $272.1 million put iGaming ahead of every other segment in New Jersey’s gaming market.

Results inside the casino segment were mixed. Slot machine win fell 1.0% to $171.8 million, while table game win rose 13.3% to $64.9 million. Together, those figures left land-based casinos with modest overall growth in March.

Sports betting posted stronger March revenue

Sports wagering revenue also improved in March. Revenue from online sportsbooks rose to $87.3 million, while sportsbook lounge revenue came to about $288,000. Combined sports betting revenue reached $87.6 million, compared with $71.3 million a year earlier.

Year-to-date sports wagering revenue reached $268.4 million through March, which was 0.5% higher than the same point in 2025. Year-to-date iGaming revenue reached $782.8 million, up 16.3%, while total gaming revenue for casinos, racetracks and their partners reached $1.70 billion, up 7.5%.

State gaming tax revenue also increased in March

The state collected $84.7 million in total gross revenue taxes for March and $246.1 million for the year through March. With iGaming and sports betting continuing to do most of the lifting, New Jersey’s market remains heavily supported by digital play rather than retail casino growth.
