LeoVegas Group has launched its Tiger sportsbook in Sweden after GoGoCasino received a betting licence from the Swedish Gambling Authority. The move brings Tiger into LeoVegas Group’s home market for the first time and adds a new sports betting product to a brand that had focused on online casino and live casino in Sweden since 2019.
The launch gives GoGoCasino a bigger role in the group’s Swedish business. It also moves LeoVegas further ahead with its effort to launch its own sportsbook technology in more regulated markets.
New licence opens the door to sports betting
The Swedish Gambling Authority granted GoGoCasino a betting licence in addition to its existing online gambling licence. That approval allows the brand to move beyond casino and bring sports betting into its offer in Sweden.
Tiger now powers that new sportsbook vertical. LeoVegas said the Swedish version includes bet builder, daily boosted odds, partial cash-out and live betting features.
Sweden launch adds to wider Tiger rollout
The Sweden launch is part of a broader rollout of Tiger across LeoVegas Group’s brands. The company said the platform has already gone live in markets including Denmark and the Netherlands, as well as in Brazil through BetMGM’s joint venture with Grupo Globo.
Tiger is more than a standard third-party content deal. LeoVegas Group’s parent, MGM Resorts, acquired the Tiger sportsbook suite from Tipico Group in 2024, giving the business more direct control over its sportsbook technology.
For LeoVegas, the Sweden launch adds a new product and marks an important step in its home market. The group is bringing its own sportsbook tech into a regulated domestic market where it already has an established casino brand.
GoGoCasino becomes a bigger part of LeoVegas’ Sweden offer
GoGoCasino first launched in Sweden in 2019 and has been positioned around casino and live casino. Adding sports betting gives the brand a wider product mix in a market where cross-sell between casino and sportsbook remains important.
The bigger test now is commercial. LeoVegas has the licence, the platform and an established local brand. The next question is how much Tiger can help GoGoCasino grow in a Swedish market that is already mature and tightly regulated.
