DigiPlus has introduced a wider responsible gaming framework across BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone. The Philippine digital gaming company is combining player education, account controls, risk checks and support services under a four-step system.
The framework covers education, prevention, intervention and treatment support. DigiPlus plans to add more responsible gaming tools during 2026 as online gaming operators face closer attention on player protection.
Framework starts with player education
DigiPlus said responsible gaming information will be included during customer onboarding. The company also uses Know Your Customer checks to stop minors and restricted users from accessing its products. The education stage explains available tools before players begin using the platforms. These include options to control gaming time, set schedules and manage daily spending or loss limits.
The company already offers a Responsible Gaming tab across BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone. Players can use the feature to set limits directly in the app without contacting customer support.
Data checks look for risk signs
The prevention stage uses customer data and platform analytics to identify possible signs of harmful play. DigiPlus said the system uses aggregated and consent-based data to review general gaming patterns. When the platform identifies a possible risk, it can direct players toward safer gaming controls. These include bet limits, deposit limits, session duration settings and other account management options.
Players can also request temporary account deactivation or self-exclusion through DigiPlus platforms. Customer care teams can help users activate account controls when needed.
Intervention tools support players
The intervention stage focuses on players who may need more direct support. DigiPlus can encourage users to set controls when their activity shows possible signs of risk.
The company’s self-exclusion tools allow users to set daily gaming duration limits, create gaming schedules and apply daily loss caps. Once a limit is reached, players receive reminders and prompts inside the app.
DigiPlus introduced these controls in 2024 and later expanded them across its brands. The company has included the tools in its wider responsible gaming work.
Treatment support forms final stage
The final part of the framework covers treatment and referral support for players who need further help. DigiPlus has worked with counsellors, financial coaches and other specialists through responsible gaming campaigns.
Its GameSmart program focuses on prevention, education and intervention. The Pusta de Peligro campaign used short films and community activities to promote safer play.
DigiPlus operates BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone in the Philippines. The framework adds to its player protection work as online gaming safeguards receive more attention.
