Konami Group posted another record year, with revenue rising 17.1% to ¥493.7 billion for the year ended March 31, 2026. Profit for the year rose 33.9% to ¥100.0 billion.
The result gives President and Group CEO Kimihiko Higashio a third straight year of record revenue and profit categories at group level. Konami also confirmed a new iGaming brand inside its Gaming & Systems business.
Digital Entertainment carried the record year
Digital Entertainment remained the main driver. Segment revenue rose 21.5% to ¥371.0 billion, while business profit climbed 37.5% to ¥136.0 billion.
Konami pointed to key game titles as the reason group revenue, business profit, operating profit, profit before tax and profit all reached record highs for a third straight fiscal year. Operating profit rose 33.3% to ¥135.9 billion, while business profit increased 31.6% to ¥143.6 billion.
The company also lifted shareholder returns. Its annual dividend for the year rose to ¥221.50 per share from ¥165.50 a year earlier. Konami forecast a further increase to ¥224.00 for the year ending March 2027.
Gaming profit fell despite new casino products
The casino-facing Gaming & Systems division had a much weaker profit year. Revenue edged up 1.0% to ¥43.1 billion, but business profit fell 50.4% to ¥3.65 billion.
Konami said the division was hit by U.S. tariff measures and customers delaying purchases before the launch of a new cabinet. The company released Solstice 49C, its first new cabinet model in about six years, and showed it at Global Gaming Expo in October 2025.
The company also reported demand for casino management systems. The number of facilities using Synkros rose through installations in California, New Mexico and on cruise ships.
Konami Online Interactive puts iGaming in the plan
Konami said it has established Konami Online Interactive to expand its market share in iGaming. The move places online casino content beside its existing slot machines, casino systems and specialty markets work.
The company also included iGaming in its outlook for Gaming & Systems. For the year ending March 2027, Konami said it will develop new slot machines, new gaming content and new features for casino management systems while expanding efforts in specialty markets and iGaming.
Konami forecast group revenue of ¥505.0 billion and profit of ¥101.0 billion for the current fiscal year. Gaming & Systems revenue is expected to reach ¥46.0 billion, with business profit rising to ¥6.5 billion.
