ELA Games’ King and Flame has been shortlisted for Best New Game Release at the 2026 SiGMA Europe Awards. Winners are due to be announced on May 27 at the Casino Maltese in Valletta, Malta. The nomination gives the supplier another industry award shortlist for one of its recent slot releases.

King and Flame joins the awards shortlist

King and Flame was released in April and uses a medieval fantasy theme built around coins, chests and free spins. The game is a 5×3 video slot with 20 paylines and a maximum win of 5,000x. Its feature set includes Hold and Win coin prizes, Mystery Chests, Free Spins, a Bonus Wheel and expanding wild events during gameplay.

Those mechanics place the title in the feature-heavy slot category. Suppliers in that category compete on pacing, bonus frequency and replay value. No winner has been announced yet.

ELA Games adds another award nomination

ELA Games has been releasing new slot titles and appearing more often at industry events and awards. The supplier received SiGMA recognition in 2024. It has continued to use award shortlists to build its B2B profile.

King and Flame also follows the company’s recent focus on character-led themes and feature-driven mechanics, using a fantasy setting rather than a classic casino format. For operators, the nomination gives the title another promotional point when adding new content to casino lobbies.

Malta awards cover gaming suppliers and operators

The SiGMA Europe Awards are scheduled for May 27 during SiGMA’s Malta event. The categories cover casino, sportsbook, affiliate, payment, supplier and game segments across the online gambling sector.

Best New Game Release is one of the categories focused directly on supplier content. The category often attracts studios looking to promote new titles to operators, aggregators and platform partners.

The awards event is held alongside SiGMA Europe, one of Malta’s main gambling industry conferences. The wider event brings together operators, suppliers, affiliates, payments companies and technology providers active in regulated and emerging markets.
